What dance is really like😂

Hi guys,

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be talking about what dance is like because I have recently been watching some clips from dance moms and all it was was just pageant and dance is not like that. Now I know I am going a bit deep but I truly believe that dance is about expressing yourself through movement. I am deeply disappointed that it has become a pageant. It has become all about the looks and perfection which dancers strive for a lot which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's to the point when dance is no longer enjoyable.

How my dance exams went and what I'm doing in work experience next week - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Last Sunday, I had a dance exam for my ballroom and street routines. I did street first and ballroom second. For my street, I danced to 1999 by CharliXCX and Don't Call Me Up by Mabel. There were perhaps a couple sections that could have been neater but on the whole, I think that it went well. I think that I did well in ballroom too. I did forget, I think once, the lock step in the quick step but I didn't stop and I managed to complete the routine. I didn't forget anything in the jive and I think I performed the routines in both styles well on the whole. In comparison to last time, when I did samba instead of paso, I would say that it went a lot better this time!😂 Starting Monday, I'm also beginning my work experience at my old dance studio. Something for young adults - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I read an interesting article on Dance Plug, the online dance studio and service that I'm currently subscribed to, where this company owner wrote about how she managed to build her own dance company out of the people from her local community. She said that her company started off with a group of her friends getting together every week to come up with choreography and soon it grew into a professional contemporary dance company that toured the country and brought together dancers from different walks of life. I thought this was interesting because I think for a long time I've been searching for someone to point out the lack of classes that there are available for young adults between the ages of around 18 and 25. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I wanted to create a dance series that encompasses things in the dance industry that people wouldn't really talk about or see. The series is called "All about:_____," and I'm going to be explaining the new things that choreographers, dancers, and people have come up with that change the way we look at dance and in today's post, I'll be talking about Burn the Floor.
