Keeping Up With Juliette

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  As I'm sure many of you already know, me and my family have been going on many walks around the back of our house, our village, and quite recently because of the slight alleviation of lockdown, to another area in Cambridge as well. I've really liked going on walks as I've found that it was a great way to take in some fresh air and go somewhere that was not just my house. If I've been doing quite a lot of homeschooling during the day and I hadn't really had the time to do something more fun, I've always enjoyed going on walks and just sharing my thoughts with nature. Despite it being simple, it has been a big stress reliever. I've been walking a lot ever since I first heard the news about the lockdown and I've found that it makes me feel like I have some sort of freedom. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Overall, I thought that Saturday was a great day. I really enjoyed having a long weekend because I could have a little more time to myself, without having to think about homeschooling. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who also liked my VE Day post on my Instagram. I wrote that post very quickly but I thought that I couldn't not write anything for the 75th anniversary, which was such a significant occasion. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Around Wednesday last week, my teachers sent me some work online to do at home. They needed a bit of time to get everything prepared so that was why it came midweek but nevertheless, I got down to doing some English first thing in the morning. Although the work is going to be useful for the next stage of our education (sixth form and apprenticeships), since we require our knowledge from GCSE in order to move through school, it did take a while for me to get in the mode of independently working from home. As much as I know how important it is to do this work, there's still part of me that does feel like its all a bit pointless to be honest, even though it isn't. I guess it's because we've been conditioned to work for mainly the exams. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, A few days before New Year's Eve, me and my family decided to go on a spontaneous holiday to Yoxford in Suffolk. It was so spontaneous that it was a bit stressful actually getting there. My parents booked a lovely cottage in a Medieval village, on the Friday, and we left on the Saturday. The trouble was that my sister began to feel very ill around midday on Friday so she wasn't able to eat lunch that day and for practically the rest of Saturday. She basically caught the gastric flu that I had a couple days before Christmas Eve. In fact, this whole polava of illness across Christmas came from my dad because he had to go on a work trip to London with a friend who was also very ill and that basically ricocheted throughout my whole family. My sister had caught a cold the week before and unfortunately, a day before we were supposed to be leaving for a nice holiday, she felt even sicker. It was a bit of a bother for her as she ...

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, For the last part of my Easter holidays, my family decided to book a boat on the Norfolk Broads. A few years back, we went on this trip for the second time but we booked our boat from a different location. My mum reckons I wasn't even in secondary school because we listened to an audio book by David Walliams whilst watching the stars on our boat that was anchored to the river bed in the middle of a massive broad. After a 2 hour drive from Cambridge to Norfolk, with one stop to Tescos for lunch and biscuits, we arrived at the boat company at 2:20pm. Me and my sister Alice went to look for our boat, Evesham Light, whilst my parents got all the paper's signed and checked. Hello everybody and welcome to another blog post, The long awaited 3 day journey is coming your way guys! I've been an absolute rebel😎 and I completely forgot to do this 3 day journey post for you guys.( Utter idiot!). But hey it's coming your way today! (Yes after about 5 years Juliette) So, around Easter time, me and my family decided to go on a short getaway. My sister was going to be starting her GCSE's next month and she was working very hard so my mum thought it would be a good idea to have a break. Not only just for Alice but for me and the rest of my family since we've all been utter angels😇 and working very hard. My mum found this really good holiday club in Cromer that looked great and was for a really good price. So we decided to go there only for a couple of days. Saturday 31st March I literally did no work today. It was the 2nd day into the holidays and I was prepared to relax! I woke up late. I did not exactly eat a healthy breakfast. I watched TV whilst eating my breakfast and I did no homework. Personally, I think that I worked hard at school,okay! I think that from time to time,after working hard, it is good to relax. And that is exactly what I did. It wasn't even Easter Sunday and I ate unhealthily! Who cares. Sunday 1st April This year, Easter was on the 1st of April. Meaning it was April fools!
