Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Recently, as I'm sure many of you have seen on my Instagram, I went to the Ivy in Cambridge to celebrate my mum's birthday. It's a very posh restaurant with other franchises in London as well as in Brighton. My mum being my mum told me that it wasn't actually that posh so although what I wore wasn't too bad, I still had my fuzzy socks on in my boots! We were all laughing about that a lot. My favourite dances from the Royal Ballet - Dance Saturday

  Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Following on from the post I did last week, I thought it would be a great idea to review my favourite dances not from The Next Step but actually from The Royal Ballet. I don't do ballet but I must say that if I were to stumble across the Royal Opera House YouTube channel, I would be sitting there for a long time, watching all the videos they do on the Royal Ballet. There are so many amazing videos that they do of performances and rehearsals and I just find it really interesting to watch. Here are some of my favourite dances from The Royal Ballet! My first favourite dance has got to be Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. I like this dance because it's technical and involves a lot of ballet repertoire but the production also involves a lot of theatrical characterisation. How my dance exams went and what I'm doing in work experience next week - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Last Sunday, I had a dance exam for my ballroom and street routines. I did street first and ballroom second. For my street, I danced to 1999 by CharliXCX and Don't Call Me Up by Mabel. There were perhaps a couple sections that could have been neater but on the whole, I think that it went well. I think that I did well in ballroom too. I did forget, I think once, the lock step in the quick step but I didn't stop and I managed to complete the routine. I didn't forget anything in the jive and I think I performed the routines in both styles well on the whole. In comparison to last time, when I did samba instead of paso, I would say that it went a lot better this time!😂 Starting Monday, I'm also beginning my work experience at my old dance studio. It's great because in comparison to all my other friend's jobs, I only work for a short amount of time. On Monday, I start at 3:45pm and finish at 8:00pm so I get t...

Blogmas day 9- Christmas isn't always great for everyone- Ways we can give back this Christmas

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I am very fortunate to receive lots of amazing presents under the Christmas tree every year from clothes to electronics. However, i'm sure we've seen countless adverts on TV talking about some of the hardships some people worldwide and in our local communities have to go through. And whilst it's amazing to receive such amazing presents from the people we love, we have to remember that some people don't get that luxury. Consequently, it's always important to think of the ways we can give back. Here are a few examples! Donate food to a food bank. As I've mentioned in my Blogmas day 3 post, me and my family gave a can of peas to the food bank on the day we bought our Christmas tree. A can of peas is not a lot but it's practical and its also something.
