Don't be afraid of having a different opinion!- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog,

Recently, I watched Zoella's vlog where she explained that she felt like she wasn't being her true self and felt like she couldn't express her true views on things in case someone took it the wrong way and found it offensive. She claims that she sits and re-watches her videos about 3 times just to make sure everything she said in that was okay. That makes me really sad because I am seeing more of that nowadays. An opinion may not be factually correct but all of the greatest ideas all started with one simple opinion. That didn't mean that everyone agreed with it because they had the choice not to.  But because one person was brave enough to share their opinion, that view, changed the world. I was going to write up another power of writing post but I thought this was more worthwhile. Your opinion could have the possibility of being really stupid but it could also have the possibility of being really great so don't stop yourself from voicing it.

It is better to say that I spoke up instead of I should've spoken up.

When does an opinion become offensive or is it ever offensive? Let me know in the comments below and I will be sure to reply to them.

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  As most of you have probably already seen on my Instagram, a couple months ago now, me and my parents went on a road trip to Durham to visit the university there. I thought it would be a wise idea to apply to other universities apart from Cambridge so that I would have more options in the future should anything not go to plan. And that's why I chose Durham because it was a good university and I also heard many good things about it from people at work who said they had studied there. A short diary entry from me: Going to sixth form for the first time - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, On Thursday, I had my first day of school at my sixth form college. I was quite nervous because I didn't know what to expect and it was going to be a new environment for me to be in. This was especially enhanced by the 6 month lockdown period that meant I couldn't go to proper school for the whole time and so stepping into a new building and embracing a new way of life was definitely difficult for me. Although I knew I was finished, I felt like I still needed to go back to secondary school because I never really had time to say goodbye properly or formulate that I wasn't going to study at secondary school anymore.  However, bravely, I woke up on Thursday, had my breakfast, got ready, and got in the car with my dad to go to college. Working as an assistant dance teacher over the Easter - My Trip to Tanzania (Post 12) - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  If you follow me on my Instagram account (@jujupage1), you will know that this past week, I've been working as an assistant dance teacher for the Inspirations School of Performing Arts right here in Cambridge. Last week, I revealed that I was feeling a little bit disheartened at the fact that I didn't have half as many children joining my online street dance class, as I did during the February half term holiday. Although I was never going to give up on this virtual street dance class, I was still really happy to get an email last Saturday afternoon from Inspirations, asking me if I wanted to assist one of the teachers in the acro outdoor dance classes that were happening the following week. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  People tend to choose a creative profession because academic jobs are more challenging. In a way, I can understand why that would make sense to many people. If you wanted to get into medicine or become a paramedic, there's a lot you would have to do beforehand to get there. When I read Noel Fitzpatrick's book, Becoming the Supervet, in order for him to become a professor in his field, he had to go to vet school and specialise in orthopaedic surgery at university. That was a huge undertaking that would stress anyone out because it's so competitive and you've only got one chance to succeed after years and years of study.
