My dance schedule- Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

 My dance schedule at the moment is very busy. I've signed up to do a play production at school called 1918 which is all about WW1. I'm doing a dance section which is all about the suffragettes. I thought it was a really important part of history so I decided to do it. We do however have limited time to prepare because the shows are on the 16th,17th, and 18th so we really need to try and get the routine done. I'm staying behind after school on Monday to try and get it finished.

 Next week on Sunday is my winter medal test. I will be doing 4 dances in total. It sounds like a lot but it's really just 2 dances in street and 2 dances in ballroom. In ballroom I'm doing waltz and paso doble. In street I'm doing house and break dance. I enjoy all my dances!

Book review- Moxie

Hi guys, Welcome back to my blog. Today, I am going to be doing a book review on Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu. I found the book Moxie through Zoella's YouTube channel and it seemed intriguing so when I was at the airport WH Smith's , I got the book. The front cover is actually really cool and gives you a good snippet of what the book is about. So in capital letters, the word Moxie is written on the front cover and there is also a hand facing upwards that is holding a pencil so I knew that the story was probably set in a school. The blurb says that the story is about a girl called Vivian Carter who is essencially fed up of the sexist and rude comments in class. So she gets inspiration from her mother who is a feminist to set up a feminist zine that she places around the school in secret and then eventually, a whole girl revolution has taken place. Reviewing the Sherlock Holmes series - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I had watched the Sherlock Holmes series already a couple of years ago. I went to a sleepover around my friend's house, who just lives around the corner, and she introduced me to this modern twist on the amazing Sherlock Holmes. It was only up until recently that my parents got into the series as well. I've watched a lot of the Vera series with my family and my parents like police and detective series as well so I knew that when they were going to start watching Sherlock Holmes, that they would enjoy it too. It's definitely something that you have to pay attention to when you're watching it because there are moments where Sherlock talks really fast when he's just been assessing a murder scene so you have to keep up with the story.
