Blogmas day 12- The Strictly final and winner!😮

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

 Yesterday evening, we watched the Strictly Come Dancing final. It's so strange that its all coming to an end. Every Strictly final, we always have a special meal. My mum had a free day yesterday. Whilst most bakers would stop baking, my mum continued baking. But she enjoys it because it's not for a client so that's the main thing! Haha. For mains, we had burgers. My mum discovered this Korean pickle known as Kimchi. It was delicious and it worked so well with the burgers. I had 2; definitely too much! Lol. For desert we had steamed pudding. We were going to have sticky toffee pudding at first but decided on steamed since it's not as sweet. It was really nice, especially with the cream on top.


As usual, it was a long wait to find out who the Strictly winner was. There was a lot of talk from the contestants about their Strictly experience. Then there was the drum roll and the winner was Stacey and Kevin. I was quite happy for them because they had worked so hard and it was the first time that Kevin won in ages.

Hi guys, Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to recall my experiences in Réunion and travel. The first flight we took was a nightmare because there was so much turbulence throughout the night that I was actually sick in the morning and I hate being sick. We still had a long drive to get to our accommodation in Réunion but we drove by the sea front which helped with my travel sickness. My favourite place to eat in Réunion has to be Le Patio because you can choose what you want to eat. So after we arrived, we went to Le Patio and I had a really nice salad with fish inside. It was delicious. The next day, we went to St Pierre to go to the beach. I love the beach of St Pierre because as well as being full of people, it still managed to keep its wild side. My message to vegans - Behind the glamorous Mediterranean - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I recently sat down and watched Simon Reeve's documentary on the Mediterranean with my mum and my sister and was shocked by what I saw. The journey of the migrants crossing over Ceuta, the busiest shipping lanes injuring passing dolphins, and the amount of plastic that fishermen dig up from the bottom of the seabed is just horrendous. But what is more shocking to me is how ignorant we are about this one particular subject. It made me realise that in the grand scheme of things, nothing is cruelty free. On one of his trips, Simon visited greenhouses that grow and cultivate the majority of our fruits and vegetables. The workers were all migrants that had crossed over from neighbouring Africa. These greenhouses are made up of large plastic sheets - a cheap but successful alternative used in mass production of our produce. My dance logbook so far- Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Over the past few months, I've been sharing with you guys, some of my dance diary entries for my dance logbook. I haven't completed my logbook yet but it's coming up to the summer term and we need to have it completed really soon so that we can give it to the examiners. For the first part of year 10, we completed what's known as a skills audit where we ticked boxes under columns to highlight what our strengths and weaknesses were at the start of the year. We also stuck in our first diary entry underneath that which just went into detail what we did in our first lesson. Then we did what is called our SMART targets which are goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. I put things like I wanted to improve my leg flexibility and I wrote the exact steps that I would take to improve it and how long that is was roughly going to take. Choosing the right path - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Yesterday, my friend Aline who is from Holland, came to stay around ours for a week. She arrived from the airport late in the afternoon and her and her aunt decided to stay for dinner. We had a barbeque with chicken and roasted vegetables and it was delicious. While we were eating, we had a conversation about what we wanted to do in the future. My sister Alice, was saying that she wanted to continue doing art after her A-levels but there's so many things that you can do with art that it would be difficult for my sister to choose. My mum suggested going on a gap year abroad so that she can figure it out but she is still unsure about what to do. Aline was the same because she wants to continue doing something with science but there can be so much to choose from when you're taking on that path.
