Riverdale movie series review - Lifestyle Monday

 Since getting Netflix for Christmas, I've been watching a few movies but for the most part, I haven't really known what is good to watch. I've been hearing mixed reviews about Riverdale, which is a murder mystery series and to be honest, it wasn't the most eyecatching series out of all the others on the list but I decided to give it a try. I'm a bit late to watching it but I never really watch things as soon as they come out. The first few episodes weren't very exciting because we were just getting to know the characters. The story is also a bit cliché because it's about a small town that is supposed to be perfect and obviously isn't because a guy called Jason, dies, supposedly through drowning, but they later find out that he was murdered. The story is very similar to Pretty Little Liars, where the town of Riverdale is like the town of Rosewood but there is no doubt that there are things that make you want to watch the next episode. I think that's why it's a really popular series because throughout the episodes, you start to realise that everyone is somehow involved in the murder. There are also a lot of cliffhangers that make you want to watch on so I think that's the main reason I'm still watching. You also get attached to all the characters like any series, which i guess makes the episodes more exciting.

Somme and Arras trip photos

I went on a year 9 history trip to the Somme and Arras. I visited loads of WW1 memorials and as a group we discussed wether or not they were the right way to remember them by. I also visited trenches. Some were left as they were and some were made today as they would be 100 years ago. We discussed which one was the best way to preserve the history of the trenches.  I also visited a mine. I forgot to take photos but we visited a quarry and a mine 20 metres underground that was used for a secret attack against the Germans. This was during the battle of Arras. All of these places however were so overwhelming to see but places I would definitely recommend going to. How should we remember the soldiers that died in WW1? Finding something new to study

Hello Jujubears and welcome to another blog post, Today, I am going to be doing something a little bit different. I've been on the hunt for something new to study. I looked up 'interesting things to study' and it came up with: How to pickle your own vegetables (?!) Learn a new language ( I am bilingual) Learn to code (been doing enough of that already) Find out more about microbiology (too complicated) I just wanted to find out more about a particular subject. So then I searched up 'interesting SUBJECTS to study'. It came up with this: Mathematics (I'm on holiday)  English (again, I'm on holiday) Complete study and practice of geography ( again,again, I'm on holiday) So I thought.
