Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, me, my mum, and my sister found this really good French series on Netflix called Lupin, which is based on the French 19th century novella, Arsène Lupin.  We decided to watch Lupin because we thought it would be a good way to practise our French. If you don't already know, part of my family is French. My mum was born on a French colony called Réunion which is a small island located off the coast of South Africa, in between Madagascar and Mauritius. My mum later moved to the South of France where she lived most of her life but she met my dad whilst she was studying at university in Liverpool. Like my older sister Alice, I was born in Paris which means that my passport is not British but in fact French. I moved to England when I was probably about a year old because my dad wanted to return home and work in this country instead. How am I doing? - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, It has been a while since I last posted and I did not intend for that to happen. I guess with revision and everything else, writing was the last thing on my mind. However, I thought today I would return to give you guys an update on how I'm getting on physically and emotionally, considering that now we're coming to the end of the Easter holidays and my final exam season is upon us. Physically, I feel fine. Perhaps a little bit tired but not completely burnt out either, which is important. Everyday since the start of this year really, I have been doing at least one hour of dance after work and I think it's helped me a lot. Having that space and time to work on something I enjoy, that involves physical exercise, has been an excellent way to de-stress and for the first time, I think I can see some arm muscles forming!😂💜 I have been doing a lot of calisthenics (as you would have seen with all my handstands on Instagram 😂...

Preparing routines - My Trip to Tanzania (Post 8) - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  As you might already know, if you've read my post that I published on Monday, I started up a half term street dance class for children aged 7-12 years to help me fund my expedition to Tanzania in the summer of 2022. So far, I've got a lot of good feedback and support from the advert that I started putting out to people last week. I got a couple responses from my Facebook advert and I also got some responses from the advert that I got my World Challenge co-ordinator to put out to the lower school. I've got three confirmations so far but I'm awaiting a direct response from a few others so we'll just have to wait and see. I know that some parents are quite busy so they might change their minds with these things. However, this past week, I've been working on trying to get some routines down so that I can start teaching them to the students. A lazy day in-My trip to Eastbourne!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Hello Eastbourne! Yet another place I have not been to. My mum was asked to make a croquembouche for a wedding here in Eastbourne so here we are! However, while she was doing work in our apartment kitchen, I was lounging around for the whole day and boy did I love it! Since my school had their opening evening for the future year sevens on Thursday, we had a free Friday. That gave me just enough time to complete my homework, get packed and get travelling! We spent most of the Friday travelling since we had to travel quite far south so it was a journey. But, we arrived just in time for an evening stroll on the promenade by the sea. My phone needed charging so I couldn't bring it with me to take photos but the views were just spectacular. You could tell that we were close to Brighton because the pier was so grand.
