My Christmas wishlist - Blogmas day 1

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

 It's the first of December, which only means that Blogmas has already begun! If you didn't know already, I'll be posting on Sundays and Wednesday's, every week, with a brand new Christmas post. On Wednesday, I'll be talking about my Christmassy day out with my mum on Friday but today, I'll be giving you a brief run through of a few things that I would like to receive this Christmas. Enjoy!

  • Firstly, I would like to receive new bath bombs. I received really nice bath bombs for my birthday, that my parents got from Wilko. I loved the scents from all of them and I've used them all up so I would like to get some more.
  • Secondly, I would really like to get some more jumpers and trousers. I love jumpers at this time of the year and I've got some really nice ones in my cupboard but I feel like I'm always wearing the same ones so it would be nice to have a couple more. I also need new trousers because I don't have that many and some of them I'm growing out of.
  • Thirdly, I would like to receive a new book. I'm slowly getting through all the books that I received on my birthday but another book that I would perhaps like to get is the book on the lost agents of the SOE. This is another book by Sarah Helm. I'm currently trying to get through her hefty book called If This Is A Woman and so far, I'm really enjoying it so I would like to get another one of her books.
  • I know that I'm probably going to get a new dressing gown because that happens pretty much every year so I might as well say that I would like a new dressing gown!😂
  • Next, I would also like to receive some chocolate. Me and my sister are always very grateful to receive chocolates and biscuit tins every year so I can't wait to have a selection on Christmas. My dad also does this Christmas hamper occasionally, where he buys lots of food and wraps it all into one gift bag and most of the time there's also chocolate in that so either way, I'm going to receive chocolate.
  • Lastly, I would like to get a nice 2020 calender. I can't believe I'm saying that number. It feels weird entering a new decade! This year, I got an RSPCA calender with loads of cute dogs on it but this year I would like to get another calender with some other animals on it.

    Your gift ideas are all good and I think you will receive most if not all of them. I really don't know what I want for Christmas. I have so much and I am very grateful for all I have. The only thing I have asked for are two little books on Denmark which I hope I receive.

Strictly the Professionals - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Strictly starts today and I just wanted to talk about some of the amazing professional dancers that made the show possible. A week ago, Strictly the Professionals aired on the BBC and it talked about how each dancer got to where they are today. They showed video clips from when they were young competition dancers. Janette sent a video clip of her dancing, to a stage school, to pay for her lessons in dance. AJ began dancing at his parent's ballroom dance school. Karen went to a contemporary dance school in New York, before specialising in ballroom and Latin. Kevin and Joanne Clifton, started dancing at their parent's ballroom dance school, as well. What I found really interesting was that when Kevin auditioned for Strictly, his partner at the time Karen, got in but Kevin did not. He said it was due to his Gothic look at the time. Haha😂. However, he got other small jobs on Strictly, before eventually becoming a pro-dancer....

New years resolutions for 2019

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Today I'm going to be making some new year resolutions for 2019. This time last year I made a few new years resolutions for 2018 and although I succeeded at completing some of them, many of them I did not complete. That's okay, but in order to ensure that my chances of completing them are higher this year, I need to be determined and keep looking back on my goals. So without further a do, here are my new years resolutions. Enjoy! Go to Berlin. I am going on a history trip for 5 days to Berlin, Germany in April. I've got my passport ready already and I can't wait to go! Start teaching dance or do something in work experience involving dance. I am hoping to start teaching dance perhaps part-time or for a small amount of hours since I'm only 14 but I do want to become a choreographer when I'm older so I thought it would be useful. My trip to Oxford Street, London - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, As some of you may have seen on my Instagram, on Saturday, me and my sister Alice went to Oxford Street in London to do some shopping. My sister had been dying to go to London for her 17th with her friends but they couldn't go so I decided to go with her. We wanted to go to London last weekend but I had a lot of revision to do so we thought that it was best to go on our 3 day weekend.  On Saturday, we woke up at our usual time of 9:00am since we only had to catch the train at 11:30. We decided to take the later train since my sister was tired from commuting constantly to and from school early in the morning and late in the evening and of course, I had my dance show the day before that really tired me out so we decided not to rush.  It was about an hour's train journey from Waterbeach to Kings Cross in London and after having to stand around for a bit because there was nowhere to sit down, me and my sister final...
