Blogmas day 6-Christmas Eve traditions

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, There's a lot of things that we do over Christmas Eve. Our biggest tradition is to have our well known friends come over. With our new extension, we can invite so many more people than before. My mum usually prepares quite a selection  of food that we can pick and choose from. This usually consists of her homemade paté, pork, and side dips. Apparently this is quite a French tradition to prepare lots of food on Christmas Eve but I just thought it was a normal thing to do! Lol. My mum got very offended when I said that. All the teenagers go to the living room to watch films whilst all the adults go to the other living area to sit and talk. We were supposed to watch Merlin last year but we had a problem with our DVD player so we watched Nativity 1 and 2 instead whilst playing some games. It was still fun! Blogmas day 2- Setting up the tree!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Yesterday was the first of December meaning we were going to get our Christmas tree. Our first stop was Tescos however because my sister wanted to get some chocolates for her friend's birthday. While we were there, we also bought some meat and cheese because my mum wanted to make a lasagna for dinner. We also bought a can of peas to give to the food bank. It's sad that we even have to give anything to the food bank but in our area I know that there are quite a few people who are struggling to get their basic needs so its nice to give something back. I was also glad to see that a lot of other people were giving to the food bank. After shopping, we got into the car to go to our nearest rectory  farm where they sell real Christmas trees.  When we arrived, we pulled down the back seat to allow for room for the tree. What I got for my 14th birthday!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, On Wednesday the 4th of July, I turned 14! Although it was a red,white, and blue celebration day, it was also a day to celebrate my birthday! I am so pleased to have gotten this many presents on my birthday because I know for some, that is just not possible. Thank you to my friends and family for the presents, I am eternally grateful.  :) One of my favourite presents this year was an Instax Polaroid camera! I think my parents decided to get one for me because my friend took a picture of me and her at a party and I really liked the effect. I've already started to take pictures using it. Next I got some teal blue sliders to wear around the house. Then I got a really nice two wick candle. I was a bit worried that the candle might smell like one of those really posh toilets since it was lavender scented! Lol. However it actually smelt really nice and I'm excited to burn it.
