Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I don't wish to give myself strict resolutions for this year as I'm just interested in seeing what happens. However, there is one thing I would like to do and that is focus on myself. On the weekend, I did a last minute history revision session after work with my Polish friend Teresa. She came over for lunch as well and tasted my dad's omelette for the first time which she absolutely loved. My mum's gone back home to Réunion to see my uncle and cousins, and also my grandad who is unfortunately not well. However, this has meant that Teresa was able to see what my dad's cooking was like and she was impressed. Overall the revision session was very helpful and it was a well spent study session. Durham - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  As most of you have probably already seen on my Instagram, a couple months ago now, me and my parents went on a road trip to Durham to visit the university there. I thought it would be a wise idea to apply to other universities apart from Cambridge so that I would have more options in the future should anything not go to plan. And that's why I chose Durham because it was a good university and I also heard many good things about it from people at work who said they had studied there. I had actually wanted to visit Durham during their open day but of course this open day just so happened to fall at the exact same time as the open days at Cambridge which I suppose is typical. Both Cambridge and Durham are pretty competitive institutions to enter and I suppose they want you as an applicant to be selective with your decisions and narrow your choices down. I performed my rock 'n' roll duet for the exam - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  On Thursday, I filmed my rock 'n' roll duet with my partner at school. In order to complete the IB Dance course, I need to do my IB dance investigation (which I've done a lot of already 😂), my solo, my group dance, and my duet. As a result, before we broke off for the Christmas holidays, we all decided that Thursday would be the day to get filming the duet. For me, the whole rehearsal process for the rock 'n' roll duet was kind of stressful because my partner was off sick for a week with Covid. Therefore, for most of the classes, whilst other people were rehearsing, I was sitting in the corner of the studio catching up on work. I tried revisiting some of the choreography by myself but it was a little bit difficult to do all the partner work without my partner, so I thought that studying would be a better use of time. My funny Halloween story - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I hope you've all had a great Halloween! This weekend, my parents went to spend some time in Cromer whilst me and my sister Alice were minding the house for a couple of days. This was our first time home alone and although it seemed a bit daunting at first, we had a lot of fun eating loaded fries and watching movies. On Saturday night, we watched Strictly Come Dancing and it was Halloween week. Whilst we were watching one of the performances, Alice reminded me of one of my cringiest Halloween stories yet. She said, "Juliette, do you remember that time on Halloween when you carved a pumpkin and kept it for weeks? You also made a broomstick and attempted fly on it on the green like a witch.
