Being a model and role model are two separate things

Hello Jujubears and welcome to another blog post, Today I am going to be talking about the differences between models and role models and why we might get the two mixed up. I was recently reading Anne Frank's diary and she brought up how her parents wanted her to be the model child. At first, I thought it made sense but on second glance, I realised that it didn't. For example, we consider models to be figures in photos and magazines like Vogue. All models are doing is promoting something that they don't own. So by saying someone is or has to be a model child, it's implementing that they have to represent something that they don't own ; something that isn't them. To me, this makes sense and answers a lot of difficult questions. When we look at magazines, we look at something someone else has and try to fit it with our own body type. Where I will be doing my work experience placement--Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I did a blog post about a month ago about where I was hoping to do my work experience placement. I was hoping that my first choice would be to work at my current studio, but despite my best efforts to try and get a placement there, they could only provide 1 week of work experience since other people had already applied for the 1st week. Plus the week I would be doing would be filled with admin and prep for the summer workshop which I didn't think was worth doing so I looked elsewhere. My second choice was my previous dance studio. After finding out that I couldn't do the placement at my current studio, I immediately sent an email to my previous studio. After a few days of intense waiting, I finally got accepted! For the rest of the day I was incredibly happy. What the job entales is being a classroom assistant and helping out for the summer workshop. What is sunning? Strange bird behaviour!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I really like black birds. Even though the eat all the cherries off our tree! They are still friendly birds. We have a specific black bird that always comes into our garden. My parents have been really wanting to get the garden going since the extension on our house. They have been doing a great job and it's nearly ready for vegetables next year! But there is still some digging to do. Every time my dad digs up a patch of the garden, the same black bird is always there to eat the worms. Now it's chicks are all grown up but before, he would feed them to his chicks and they would have intense fights over food. It was quite funny to watch! I've seen the same black bird so many times that I decided to name it as a joke. I named it Sid since it was male. This was the first time I ever saw the strange bird behaviour!
