Jumping off a boat into the ocean!- Croatia adventures

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

As you may know from my previous blog post, a few days ago, me and my family went to the coastal town of Rovinj just to look around. We were walking by the sea looking at the amazing views when a sales man starting talking Croatian to us, obviously thinking that we could speak Croatian, when we couldn't. He soon found out that we were english so he started speaking english to us. We listened on thinking he would start talking about something that wasn't interesting but then he started talking about an amazing boat ride, jumping into the ocean,eating sardines, and visiting the surrounding islands that we could do for a very affordable price in one day. We accepted his offer to go on this boat ride along with many other people and it was a decision we never regretted taking!

Finding something new to study

Hello Jujubears and welcome to another blog post, Today, I am going to be doing something a little bit different. I've been on the hunt for something new to study. I looked up 'interesting things to study' and it came up with: How to pickle your own vegetables (?!) Learn a new language ( I am bilingual) Learn to code (been doing enough of that already) Find out more about microbiology (too complicated) I just wanted to find out more about a particular subject. So then I searched up 'interesting SUBJECTS to study'. It came up with this: Mathematics (I'm on holiday)  English (again, I'm on holiday) Complete study and practice of geography ( again,again, I'm on holiday) So I thought. Returning to Norfolk

Being a model and role model are two separate things

Hello Jujubears and welcome to another blog post, Today I am going to be talking about the differences between models and role models and why we might get the two mixed up. I was recently reading Anne Frank's diary and she brought up how her parents wanted her to be the model child. At first, I thought it made sense but on second glance, I realised that it didn't. For example, we consider models to be figures in photos and magazines like Vogue. All models are doing is promoting something that they don't own. So by saying someone is or has to be a model child, it's implementing that they have to represent something that they don't own ; something that isn't them. To me, this makes sense and answers a lot of difficult questions. When we look at magazines, we look at something someone else has and try to fit it with our own body type.
