What I'm hoping to talk about in my English speaking exam- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

 After Easter, my English teacher told the class that we will be doing a speaking exam on whatever topic we wish to talk about. I don't know the exact details of the exam but I do know that we have to talk about a certain subject for 4 minutes. I will probably find out more about it when I return to school next Tuesday. Although, I already have an idea of what I'm going to talk about. I thought it would be interesting to talk about my heritage since I've got an interesting racial background. My sister talked about this for her speaking exam in year 10 and she did very well in it so I thought it would be a good idea to talk about it also. I will hopefully be able to talk about where my mum comes from. She was born in a French colony called Réunion near Madagascar. I can also talk about my dad's heritage because he's half English and half Japanese. I'll find out more about what the exam entails later but I think that in terms of what I'm going to talk about, I'm pretty prepared.

New years resolutions for 2019

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Today I'm going to be making some new year resolutions for 2019. This time last year I made a few new years resolutions for 2018 and although I succeeded at completing some of them, many of them I did not complete. That's okay, but in order to ensure that my chances of completing them are higher this year, I need to be determined and keep looking back on my goals. So without further a do, here are my new years resolutions. Enjoy! Go to Berlin. I am going on a history trip for 5 days to Berlin, Germany in April. I've got my passport ready already and I can't wait to go! Start teaching dance or do something in work experience involving dance. Blogmas day 2- Setting up the tree!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Yesterday was the first of December meaning we were going to get our Christmas tree. Our first stop was Tescos however because my sister wanted to get some chocolates for her friend's birthday. While we were there, we also bought some meat and cheese because my mum wanted to make a lasagna for dinner. We also bought a can of peas to give to the food bank. It's sad that we even have to give anything to the food bank but in our area I know that there are quite a few people who are struggling to get their basic needs so its nice to give something back. I was also glad to see that a lot of other people were giving to the food bank. After shopping, we got into the car to go to our nearest rectory  farm where they sell real Christmas trees.  When we arrived, we pulled down the back seat to allow for room for the tree.
