Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I got given the opportunity by my school to take part in the Lessons from Auschwitz Online Project, to further my understanding on the events that took place during the Holocaust. I was joined by over a hundred other sixth form students from across the UK and I found it quite amazing that so many young people, whether they already had knowledge on the Holocaust or not, had decided to get involved and educate themselves on such a raw and often confusing historical time period. However, whether selfishly or unselfishly, I decided to take part in this project set up by the Holocaust Educational Trust for myself. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  On Sunday, we celebrated my dad's birthday. It also happened to be Valentine's day so my dad bought something for my mum too. I always find that part a bit funny. I don't think that he will like me saying this but just so you know what age he now is, he is 50, the scary mid-life crisis age. 😂 💜 No, I mean well but one likes good humour. Hahaha. Anyway, I do think that the day was celebrated well. Aside from nearly leaving one of my presents hidden in one of my drawers and leaving the price on some of the birthday cards, opening the presents and the gifts was joyful. No, it wasn't socks that were gifted this time. My dad got some nice jumpers, a few Cuban cigars for special occasions, some books, some alcohol, and a swanky shaving set with a brush! Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Thank you for your viewership and your support in yesterday's blog post. It was supposed to go out on Monday but I guess finding the right words in these sorts of situations takes time. I'm happy to have shared the message though. It has made me feel a lot better. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, A couple months ago, during one of my online dance lessons, I watched a dance documentary on the origins of hip hop. It was called Dance Around the World. It starred the famous British street dancers Kymberlee Jay, Maren Ellermann, and Suzette Brisset. It was super interesting and, as a street dancer myself, I found out a lot about hip hop that I didn't know before. I learnt that hip hop was created for dancers to stand up for themselves on the streets of New York, I found out how hard it was for hip hop dancers to make money on the streets, and I learnt a lot about other forms of hip hop like breaking and litefeet.   Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, For one of our Theory of Knowledge lessons (Philosophy in other words), we have to write a 250-500 word essay every 2 weeks to consolidate our knowledge and add to our Theory of Knowledge journals. It can be about a current affair, a piece of artwork, media, or a personal story that links to our aspects of knowledge (perspective, culture etc).
