Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Apologies for not posting in so long! I went on a mini Christmas break to Yorkshire over the holidays, which was a lot of fun but I haven't been keeping you guys updated! I guess that I ended up taking an unintentional break from writing but I'm back now and I hope that you haven't missed my little antics too much. Now, I've actually done a lot of research on Kate Prince's life and the ZooNation dance company when I was completing part of my coursework for BTEC dance. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I'm going to be talking about the famous modern dance duo, Briar Nolet and Myles Erlick, for today's All about:______ post.  If you don't know who Briar Nolet and Myles Erlick are, they are two very young contemporary dancers from the Canadian Dance Company, who were featured on the popular kids dance reality show, The Next Step, where they showcased their incredibly athletic duets as well as their strong and powerful solos. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, In today's All about:______ post, I'll be talking about the prima ballerina, Kayla Mak! I think that there's a very distinct reason why Kayla Mak just has to be talked about today. Not only is she a very good dancer but she's also an incredibly hard worker, who has independently worked tirelessly for many of her own dreams. Around February of this year, I watched one of Teen Vogue's videos that they did on her, where they showed what she gets up to on a day-to-day basis during an average week in her life. I honestly believe that I do work hard but I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that Kayla is a SUPERWOMAN, after watching that video! She gets up early, goes to school, takes the train to her dance studio, dances for 5 hours, goes back home, eats dinner, does her homework at midnight, and somehow manages to fit everything she wants to do in her day. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  For today's post, in continuation with my All about:____ series, I'll be talking about the well-known ballroom and Latin dancer, Shirley  Ballas! I was always sceptical about who would be best suited to replace the previous head judge of Strictly Come Dancing, Len Goodman, and when they announced in 2017 that it was Shirley Ballas, I didn't really know who she was at first. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  For today's All about:_____ series post, I'll be talking about another one of my favourite dancers from the past, Dame Gillian Lynne! Although she died quite recently, I honestly think that through reading her autobiography, A Dancer in Wartime, Gillian is a very inspirational dancer and person. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  In today's all about:_____ post, I'll be talking about the incredibly well-known British street dance group, Diversity! I have talked about this group a little bit before but here I'll be talking about their full story and how they changed dance so if that is something you want to see, then please keep on reading. Originally known as Swift Moves, Diversity is a dance group that was formed in 2007 and it includes four sets of siblings and eight other members from London and Essex. They rose to fame through their Britain's Got Talent audition in 2009, where they impressed the judges with an original and slightly comedic, street dance number. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I wouldn't really say that I'm much of a photography person. Me and my sister did a great photography workshop with Stella last year and although it was really fun and I learnt a lot from it, it was only then that I realised just how much it takes to capture an amazing image. The lighting, angles, and most importantly, the story, have to shine through in order to create the best photograph. The series is called "All about:_____," and I'm going to be explaining the new things that choreographers, dancers, and people have come up with that change the way we look at dance and in today's post, I'll be talking about Burn the Floor. Burn the Floor is a ballroom and Latin dance company, produced by Harley Medcalf, that has performed many famous live shows across the world. Some of these places include the West End in London and Broadway in New York City.
