Durham - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  As most of you have probably already seen on my Instagram, a couple months ago now, me and my parents went on a road trip to Durham to visit the university there. I thought it would be a wise idea to apply to other universities apart from Cambridge so that I would have more options in the future should anything not go to plan. And that's why I chose Durham because it was a good university and I also heard many good things about it from people at work who said they had studied there. I had actually wanted to visit Durham during their open day but of course this open day just so happened to fall at the exact same time as the open days at Cambridge which I suppose is typical. Both Cambridge and Durham are pretty competitive institutions to enter and I suppose they want you as an applicant to be selective with your decisions and narrow your choices down. Blogmas day 2- Setting up the tree!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Yesterday was the first of December meaning we were going to get our Christmas tree. Our first stop was Tescos however because my sister wanted to get some chocolates for her friend's birthday. While we were there, we also bought some meat and cheese because my mum wanted to make a lasagna for dinner. We also bought a can of peas to give to the food bank. It's sad that we even have to give anything to the food bank but in our area I know that there are quite a few people who are struggling to get their basic needs so its nice to give something back. I was also glad to see that a lot of other people were giving to the food bank. After shopping, we got into the car to go to our nearest rectory  farm where they sell real Christmas trees.  When we arrived, we pulled down the back seat to allow for room for the tree. We then started looking for the tree. We found a good tree at first but then we decided we should look aro...

Blogmas day 7- Doctor Who is actually good!

By -
Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, A couple months ago I did a post about why I disagreed with Doctor Who being a woman. I personally found it ridiculous that the gender of the Doctor changed because of feminism and not the good of the series. However, despite this, my mum convinced me to watch it and I found that It was actually good. I still disagree with the Doctor being a woman but I think that the storyline is amazing and has actually improved from past years. I can't wait for the Christmas version to come out! Have you watched the new Doctor Who? Would you watch it? Let me know in the comments below and I will be sure to reply to them. I ♡ hearing from you! See you next time, Bye, XOX, Juliette Blog post: Why I disagree with Doctor Who being a woman My social media handles: My Instagram My YouTube channel My second blog: The Book Hub
