  1. New York at Christmas because it has amazing Christmas trees!
  2. Japan because I'm part Japanese and I've never been to Japan so yeah!
  3. Thailand because the food is just so great!
  4. Berlin. I will be going there with school and I'm super excited!
  5. Canada because it's so beautiful.
  6. Australia because I want to see kangaroos.
  7. Singapore because again, I love the food.
  8. Spain because it's near and I've never been.
  9. Iceland because I want to see the arora borealis.
  10. Africa because I would like to see a wild elephant.

Blogmas day 6-Christmas Eve traditions

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, There's a lot of things that we do over Christmas Eve. Our biggest tradition is to have our well known friends come over. With our new extension, we can invite so many more people than before. My mum usually prepares quite a selection  of food that we can pick and choose from. This usually consists of her homemade paté, pork, and side dips. Apparently this is quite a French tradition to prepare lots of food on Christmas Eve but I just thought it was a normal thing to do! Lol. My mum got very offended when I said that. All the teenagers go to the living room to watch films whilst all the adults go to the other living area to sit and talk. We were supposed to watch Merlin last year but we had a problem with our DVD player so we watched Nativity 1 and 2 instead whilst playing some games. It was still fun! 2022 is the year to prioritise myself - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I don't wish to give myself strict resolutions for this year as I'm just interested in seeing what happens. However, there is one thing I would like to do and that is focus on myself. On the weekend, I did a last minute history revision session after work with my Polish friend Teresa. She came over for lunch as well and tasted my dad's omelette for the first time which she absolutely loved. My mum's gone back home to Réunion to see my uncle and cousins, and also my grandad who is unfortunately not well. However, this has meant that Teresa was able to see what my dad's cooking was like and she was impressed. Overall the revision session was very helpful and it was a well spent study session. We were able to do some baking after the study session and we made a giant cookie cake, Teresa's recipe, which I posted a photo of on my Instagram story. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Apologies for my absence on here recently. A lot of things have been happening. As I write this post, I am actually back from Spain and I am back to the normal working routine at Scudamore's. So far, despite the fact that we're now off the peak season and heading into the autumn, I am enjoying the working life and being a river tour guide. I feel as though I am growing and developing as a person everyday which is a nice feeling and I find that it's such a refreshing change from the hectic schedule I had during the IB. However, if you follow me on my Instagram, you'll also know that I recently visited the Cambridge colleges with my parents and currently I am making applications to the University of Cambridge to study history. Blogmas day 2- Setting up the tree!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Yesterday was the first of December meaning we were going to get our Christmas tree. Our first stop was Tescos however because my sister wanted to get some chocolates for her friend's birthday. While we were there, we also bought some meat and cheese because my mum wanted to make a lasagna for dinner. We also bought a can of peas to give to the food bank. It's sad that we even have to give anything to the food bank but in our area I know that there are quite a few people who are struggling to get their basic needs so its nice to give something back. I was also glad to see that a lot of other people were giving to the food bank. After shopping, we got into the car to go to our nearest rectory  farm where they sell real Christmas trees.  When we arrived, we pulled down the back seat to allow for room for the tree.
