Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, A couple weeks ago, I watched a documentary by Louis Theroux which was about trophy hunting in Africa. Louis Theroux is renowned for making documentaries on controversial topics. He is excellent at filming these documentaries without imposing too much of his own opinion on the subject. If you have time to watch this, I really recommend you do because some of the things I saw were shocking and I was stunned that people were not ashamed by their actions. Movie review: I am Sam - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I rewatched one of my favourite movies called I am Sam. It stars the actors Sean Penn (as Sam Dawson), Dakota Fanning (as Lucy Dawson), and Michelle Pfeiffer (as Rita Harrison). I began watching this when I was quite young, around the age of 7 years old. I realise now that that was probably too young because the film was actually rated a 12 but I can't exactly remember my parent's reasoning for allowing me and my sister to watch the film. However, I did know that the storyline was very moving. The basic synopsis of the film is that Sam Dawson, an autistic man working on a small wage at Starbucks, has a child called Lucy with a homeless woman. After Lucy is born, the mother abandons her daughter and leaves Sam to take care of her. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I have had a lot of friends in the past. I would probably say that since the beginning of school, in reception, till now, none of them have stayed. That's okay. I have made new friends. Those friends from the past have chosen different paths to me. Some paths I would disagree with but we have to accept that we are all different people with different aspirations in life. Within my current friendship group, there have been arguments and ups and downs but we also have to accept that that is part of any friendship. It's not all rocky, we have great and fun times over the majority of the time. I would say that now, I know who are my real friends and who are not. A peaceful view of chickens digging🐔 - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, On Saturday, we let the chickens out of their pen so that they could run around and scratch up dirt because that's what they really like doing. Only Sunday and Parsnip ran out because it seems as though Roast was a bit ill. She wanted to stay in her egg box and not come out so we left her in there to do her thing. Today, when I'm writing this, I took her out of the pen so we could clean the egg box properly as she'd just been sitting in there for a while. When I was looking after her whilst my sister was cleaning the egg box, I realised that she had layed an egg right there on the grass! If she's seriously ill, I highly doubt she would be laying so our hopes are high that this is just some cold that she'll get over eventually.
