Jumping off a boat into the ocean!- Croatia adventures

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

As you may know from my previous blog post, a few days ago, me and my family went to the coastal town of Rovinj just to look around. We were walking by the sea looking at the amazing views when a sales man starting talking Croatian to us, obviously thinking that we could speak Croatian, when we couldn't. He soon found out that we were english so he started speaking english to us. We listened on thinking he would start talking about something that wasn't interesting but then he started talking about an amazing boat ride, jumping into the ocean,eating sardines, and visiting the surrounding islands that we could do for a very affordable price in one day. We accepted his offer to go on this boat ride along with many other people and it was a decision we never regretted taking!

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Recently, my mum told me to take a look a Mel Robbins's work because she talks a lot about human psychology. If you don't know her story, Mel Robbins was a well-known TV show host on American channels like CNN and has now become a motivational influencer on the internet. She faced a lot of financial difficulty trying to pursue her career in the TV and entertainment industry and this caused her marriage to become unstable and eventually she became severely depressed. This was to the point when she even struggled to get out of bed in the morning. After releasing her book, the 5 Second Rule which motivated her to get up out of bed every morning, Mel Robbins now inspires other people with mental health issues. What I'm hoping to talk about in my English speaking exam- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, After Easter, my English teacher told the class that we will be doing a speaking exam on whatever topic we wish to talk about. I don't know the exact details of the exam but I do know that we have to talk about a certain subject for 4 minutes. I will probably find out more about it when I return to school next Tuesday. Although, I already have an idea of what I'm going to talk about. I thought it would be interesting to talk about my heritage since I've got an interesting racial background. My sister talked about this for her speaking exam in year 10 and she did very well in it so I thought it would be a good idea to talk about it also. I will hopefully be able to talk about where my mum comes from. She was born in a French colony called Réunion near Madagascar.
