Hello, Réunion island

Hi guys,

Welcome back to my blog. This summer me and my family travelled to Réunion island which is located on the east coast of south Africa. Not many people in the UK know about this island since it is very small. However it makes a great holiday spot. Since the island is below the equator, summer in Europe here is winter. Although, it doesn't feel like winter. It usually gets as hot as 30°C, sometimes more, which doesn't always happen in the UK. My cousins who live here actually caught a cold and it was boiling outside! They were talking to us with their husky voices. It was really funny.

Back to School Haul 2019 - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, It's September, and school is fast approaching, which meant that I needed to get some more stationary. Especially entering my final year, I needed to get a lot of things for revision and in preparation for my mocks and final exams. All the items I bought I got from Wilko so it's all at a really affordable price. If you want to get these things, I'll leave all the links to them below for you to buy. Enjoy! The first thing I bought was an A4 gray display book which has loads of clear plastic wallets in them for me to put my notes in. I make loads of notes, especially for science a maths, so I think I'll find this really useful for my revision process and it was only £1.75. I also got two packs of ten black ballpoint pens. Cooking on Saturdays - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, me and my sister have begun to start cooking on Saturdays. Now, if you don't already know me, I should probably tell you that my mum is a pretty great cook. The main reason why my family rarely has takeaways is because my mum cooks almost everyday and to her credit, that's really amazing because she also runs her own cooking and baking business on top of that. This is why when a lot of parents say that they don't have the time to cook on most nights for their children, I don't really believe them because if my mum can do it, I can't really see why anyone else can't. How did my full two weeks of work experience go? - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, On Thursday, I finished my work experience at my old dance studio. I was given a bouquet of flowers by my dance teacher to mark the end of my placement. I was really happy with how it went overall.  I took part in baby ballet lessons in the mornings of some days. It didn't involve anything particularly technical since they were only little but we got out a few teddy bears from the box and they jumped around and demonstrated what you needed to do with them by pointing their toes etc. We also used the bears as our pretend audience and the children really enjoyed it. I also taught some of them a routine to the song Rainbow from the movie Ballerina. They really enjoyed it, even though they found it a bit difficult. In the end, we performed it to the parents and they loved the routine. I also got involved in accelerated ballet lessons with some of the more older students.
