We ate lunch here but I would not recommend it because I asked for steak and chips but instead I got pork and chips. We also asked for more water but it did not come.

Blogmas day 6-Christmas Eve traditions

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, There's a lot of things that we do over Christmas Eve. Our biggest tradition is to have our well known friends come over. With our new extension, we can invite so many more people than before. My mum usually prepares quite a selection  of food that we can pick and choose from. This usually consists of her homemade paté, pork, and side dips. Apparently this is quite a French tradition to prepare lots of food on Christmas Eve but I just thought it was a normal thing to do! Lol. My mum got very offended when I said that. All the teenagers go to the living room to watch films whilst all the adults go to the other living area to sit and talk. We were supposed to watch Merlin last year but we had a problem with our DVD player so we watched Nativity 1 and 2 instead whilst playing some games. It was still fun! Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Firstly, I would just like to say, I hope that you're doing well during this incredibly difficult time period. I know that the situation in Ukraine and Russia is incredibly unstable right now and the general feeling of despair seems to be ricocheting across Europe and the rest of the world. But we must remember to take the time out of our day to be kind to one another. This war began because one incredibly narcissistic man chose to get a bit too big for his boots, and now some people are turning on one another. All I can say is, don't let it be you. You may not be able to control society but you do have autonomy over yourself and your decisions. Choose peace and love wherever possible and ask others if they are okay. Is trophy hunting an acceptable thing to do?- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, A couple weeks ago, I watched a documentary by Louis Theroux which was about trophy hunting in Africa. Louis Theroux is renowned for making documentaries on controversial topics. He is excellent at filming these documentaries without imposing too much of his own opinion on the subject. If you have time to watch this, I really recommend you do because some of the things I saw were shocking and I was stunned that people were not ashamed by their actions. This is what I'm going to talk about today but if you want to watch the documentary, I'll leave the link below. It's truly worth the watch. The first place that Louis visited was a house owned by hunters from Ohio. Unable to hunt anything considered to be interesting in their own country, they went to South Africa to hunt there.
