Day with my friend + scary film aftermath 😱😀

Today, I will be talking about a somewhat interesting day in a life of me. If you liked this post, please comment, I love to hear from you and reply to your comments! Now, let's get on to a day in a life of me!👉

I woke up at 8am on Friday the 29th of December 2017. I was still extremely tired! But I'm that type of person that when I'm awake, I struggle to get back to sleep. So, as per usual, I just scrolled on my phone till it was 9am and time to get up. There isn't a specified time from which I must get up but my family find it weird, for some strange reason, if I'm awake earlier or later.

Once I am down stairs, I say "good morning" and hug my parents before heading to the kitchen. Today, my dad was assembling the island which my mum bought from Ikea for the kitchen. There was time for a quick hug.

My breakfast consisted of porridge with a bit too many blueberries with tea (builders brew as always). From which I sat in front of the TV to watch an old classic, Tracy Beaker Returns.



Around 11am, I went to my friends house to see wether or not she was around because she hadn't replied to my text. Her mum told me that she went swimming and should be round later on. Around 12, she came. We played ABBA Dance on the Wii as well as Wii Fit Plus. We cracked up and laughed because none of us were actually trying to dance or do exercise. Then we had lunch, played Monopoly and watched Up.



In the evening we watched scary films. They were very well done but not suitable to watch before bed. I was literally hiding under my duvet cover all night. It's strange how we think a duvet cover will protect us from some monster.

    I do not like scary films for just the reason you said. I do not like nightmares. And you are right, how can a cover protect us? Ha, ha.

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I've been watching a lot of Russel Brand's content on YouTube because rather surprisingly, he uploads videos giving some pretty sound life advice which I have been genuinely trying my best to follow as much as possible. I say surprising because before discovering his YouTube channel, with all due respect I never knew Russel beyond the actor that he once was, but upon discovering his channel, I have come to realise that Russel is not just an authentic and relatable human being, he is also an individual who perhaps has the intellect of some of the greatest philosophers to have ever lived. So I follow his advice very dearly. And one of the topics that Russel often talks about is living in the present moment. The individuals of the Holocaust: The victims and the perpetrators - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I got given the opportunity by my school to take part in the Lessons from Auschwitz Online Project, to further my understanding on the events that took place during the Holocaust. I was joined by over a hundred other sixth form students from across the UK and I found it quite amazing that so many young people, whether they already had knowledge on the Holocaust or not, had decided to get involved and educate themselves on such a raw and often confusing historical time period. However, whether selfishly or unselfishly, I decided to take part in this project set up by the Holocaust Educational Trust for myself. What I'm hoping to talk about in my English speaking exam- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, After Easter, my English teacher told the class that we will be doing a speaking exam on whatever topic we wish to talk about. I don't know the exact details of the exam but I do know that we have to talk about a certain subject for 4 minutes. I will probably find out more about it when I return to school next Tuesday. Although, I already have an idea of what I'm going to talk about. I thought it would be interesting to talk about my heritage since I've got an interesting racial background. My sister talked about this for her speaking exam in year 10 and she did very well in it so I thought it would be a good idea to talk about it also. I will hopefully be able to talk about where my mum comes from. She was born in a French colony called Réunion near Madagascar.
