All about the Supervet- Animal post- Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

 The Supervet is an excellent program on what goes on behind the closed doors of Fitzpatrick referrals. Dr Noel Fitzpatrick is one of England's leading veterinary surgeons who founded the clinic. Fitzpatrick employs over 100 people who work at his neurosurgery and orthopaedic surgery. Him and his team work tirelessly treating hard-to-cure ailments using new innovative ways. This is all in a bid to bring home a friend to their owners. Some of the episodes include:

 Mason, Bongo, and Lucky

  • A shih tzu comes in with severe arthritis and can barely walk; a Labrador has been affected by osteoarthritis in all four legs.
Betty Hoop, Maya, and Kanzi
  • A two-year-old mastiff is diagnosed with a bone tumour in her leg; a tiny pug has lost control of her hind legs; a Rhodesian Ridgeback is suffering from lameness.
Buzz, Charlie, and Pebbles
  • A border collie arrives with a suspicious lump on his ankle.
I really appreciate the work that Noel does. I hope that the biopic limbs that he puts onto animals gets transferred to humans in the future.

What I'm hoping to talk about in my English speaking exam- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, After Easter, my English teacher told the class that we will be doing a speaking exam on whatever topic we wish to talk about. I don't know the exact details of the exam but I do know that we have to talk about a certain subject for 4 minutes. I will probably find out more about it when I return to school next Tuesday. Although, I already have an idea of what I'm going to talk about. I thought it would be interesting to talk about my heritage since I've got an interesting racial background. My sister talked about this for her speaking exam in year 10 and she did very well in it so I thought it would be a good idea to talk about it also. I will hopefully be able to talk about where my mum comes from. She was born in a French colony called Réunion near Madagascar. Is figure skating a dance style? - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I feel like I'm saying this a lot but apologies for not posting on Wednesday. There's just been a lot of sad things happening this week in general and in my personal life and finding the time to post has just not been on my radar. I will talk all about it in my next post but for now, I just wanted to post something fun for Dance Saturday. A question that has popped up a lot in my mind recently is, can ice-skating be considered as a style of dance? Personally, I think it can. I've been watching a lot of figure skaters on YouTube and Instagram recently and I've just been completely in awe of their talent. How one can just do an axel and barrel roll on bladed shoes on slippery ice just amazes me. I would say that I've grown to become a better skater because I've done it often enough with my friends and my family that I've gained a decent balance on the ice but there was one time when I was skating on Jesus

Living in the present moment - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I've been watching a lot of Russel Brand's content on YouTube because rather surprisingly, he uploads videos giving some pretty sound life advice which I have been genuinely trying my best to follow as much as possible. I say surprising because before discovering his YouTube channel, with all due respect I never knew Russel beyond the actor that he once was, but upon discovering his channel, I have come to realise that Russel is not just an authentic and relatable human being, he is also an individual who perhaps has the intellect of some of the greatest philosophers to have ever lived. So I follow his advice very dearly. And one of the topics that Russel often talks about is living in the present moment.
