What I eat in a day - Réunion #3

Hi guys,

Welcome back to my blog. Today, for my breakfast, I had a very unhealthy but delicious bowl of cereal. 😂 I sat on the balcony to eat as it was really sunny. It isn't uncommon in Réunion to have sunny mornings.

However, the clouds started to roll in and the weather didn't seem promising from then on but my grandad was adamant that it wasn't going to rain. When we got to the beach of L'hermitage, it was surprisingly sunny. We swam in the water, saw sea snakes and colourful fish, as well as sea cucumbers. I was surprised that sea cucumbers even moved!

For lunch, we ate  at this restaurant which is a part of Le Patio in St Pierre and there you can serve yourself. I had a salad with sushi as a starter, the classic carri poulet as a main, and a fruit salad with chocolate mousse as dessert. We also returned to the beach to just do some swimming when we saw a mother humpback whale with her baby, jumping out of the water! At least half of their torso left the water. It was absolutely incredible.

In the evening, me and my family went to my uncle's to have a Japanese-style dinner on the beach. The Japanese  part was the sushi but the rest was mostly French like the bread and ham!😂

Here are some pictures of the food and places we went to!

Hope you've enjoyed this blog post,

See you in another post,

Bye
