How can we help our planet?-Juju

Hello Jujubears and welcome to another blog post,

As you can tell by the title of today's blog post, I am going to talk about 10 different and easy ways we can help our planet.


So why help our planet?

It's a common and fair question to ask. I am no expert but I do know that our planet is currently building up these gases called green house gases. These can consist of carbon dioxide and methane gas but there are many others to. These gases can be detrimental to our planet since they can cause our earth to heat up or cause extreme climate changes. Think about it, if our earth heats up, there will be no ice for our polar bears to live on and we will loose a lot of other animals we know today.

Why can't animals adapt to their environment?

If you know/believe in the theory of evolution, you will know that that evolution is the adaptation of animals characteristics and behaviour to suit their environment.  Animals are adapting to their environment as we speak but just not quick enough.

What can we do to help?

To help save our planet you can:

  1. Educate yourself about your surroundings
  2. Set up a club that does litter picking once every weak
  3. Spread the word on social media sites
  4. Recycle materials
  5. Campaign 
  6. Sponsor an animal
  7. Switch off your lights after use
  8. Plant trees!
  9. Join a club that keeps wild areas wild
  10. Learn basic science

The individuals of the Holocaust: The victims and the perpetrators - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, I got given the opportunity by my school to take part in the Lessons from Auschwitz Online Project, to further my understanding on the events that took place during the Holocaust. I was joined by over a hundred other sixth form students from across the UK and I found it quite amazing that so many young people, whether they already had knowledge on the Holocaust or not, had decided to get involved and educate themselves on such a raw and often confusing historical time period. However, whether selfishly or unselfishly, I decided to take part in this project set up by the Holocaust Educational Trust for myself.
