What dance is really like😂

Hi guys,

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be talking about what dance is like because I have recently been watching some clips from dance moms and all it was was just pageant and dance is not like that. Now I know I am going a bit deep but I truly believe that dance is about expressing yourself through movement. I am deeply disappointed that it has become a pageant. It has become all about the looks and perfection which dancers strive for a lot which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's to the point when dance is no longer enjoyable.

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  On Thursday, I found myself in a bit of a predicament when I realised I had taken on way too much and I needed to reorganise my calenda r! (I know, it took me this long to actually come to that realisation 😂).  Thursdays are my busiest days. On the worst week (week A) I start at 9:00am, have one free period and stay in until 5:15pm and I'm sure that I don't have to tell you that it is exhausting to say the least. On top of that, I would have ballroom and Latin straight after school and I would need to be there by 6:15pm and so you can begin to see my massive problem. This means I have to go home by car so I get there on time, get dressed, pack my dance bag, and rush back out the door to get to Cambridge. I dance for an hour and by the time I get home, it's 7:30pm. Celebrating the 5th of November - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, On Friday, we celebrated the 5th of November. It wasn't the 5th of November yet, but the primary school in my village likes to celebrate bonfire night with fireworks on a Friday so that families can stay late and watch them. It's a big celebration in my village. Due to the fact that we live so close to the school, we can actually see the fireworks quite clearly, from our garden. We're so close sometimes, that some debris falls from the sky and into our garden after the event. This time, instead of celebrating alone, we brought some friends over to join us. Some came late due to traffic but the fireworks display was amazing and the school really never fails at putting on a great show. It was a lot of fun and my old childminder came along with some students from abroad. One was from Seoul in South Korea and she was 22 years old, and the other was Arabian and she was 17 years old. A day out in South Kensington - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Yesterday, I went out to London with my sister, to go to have lunch and visit the V&A. When we arrived in London, we took the tube from Kings Cross, all the way to South Kensington which took us about 20 minutes. When we arrived, we used Google Maps to find the cafe. It was called Mauriel's Kitchen. The food served was really nice and the staff seemed really friendly. I had a full English breakfast and my sister had banana pancakes. We both decided to have a berry smoothie to drink along side it. After lunch, we walked down to the V&A, since my sister needed to take some photos for her art coursework. On the way there, we took some photos and we walked past the Natural History Museum. I need to go there next time! The V&A overall, was amazing. The entrance way had a massive sculpture of snakes hanging from the ceiling and it kind of looked like pulled sugar. We also saw a lot of Arabian artwork like calligraph...

Representation and sheep - Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I've just been thinking about this recently, as I've noticed it's something that a lot of people do. In school and in the outside world, we're constantly told about representation. We're constantly told about being a role model to others and being an inspiration to those who do not yet believe in themselves. Personally, I think that's brilliant because it makes people stand up and take responsibility for those who don't have a voice. However, I do think that it can go too far because at the end of the day, we're all going to be different and one person does not speak for all. Just like a king or queen that used to make decisions on the behalf of everybody without even consulting them. They did not speak for all, like a feminist doesn't speak on behalf of all women. It's also fair enough, if you as the listener, have educated yourself on why you choose to follow a leader's values. If you ...
