What dance is really like😂

Hi guys,

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be talking about what dance is like because I have recently been watching some clips from dance moms and all it was was just pageant and dance is not like that. Now I know I am going a bit deep but I truly believe that dance is about expressing yourself through movement. I am deeply disappointed that it has become a pageant. It has become all about the looks and perfection which dancers strive for a lot which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's to the point when dance is no longer enjoyable.

Netflix series review: L'histoire d'Arsène Lupin - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  Recently, me, my mum, and my sister found this really good French series on Netflix called Lupin, which is based on the French 19th century novella, Arsène Lupin.  We decided to watch Lupin because we thought it would be a good way to practise our French. If you don't already know, part of my family is French. My mum was born on a French colony called Réunion which is a small island located off the coast of South Africa, in between Madagascar and Mauritius. My mum later moved to the South of France where she lived most of her life but she met my dad whilst she was studying at university in Liverpool. Like my older sister Alice, I was born in Paris which means that my passport is not British but in fact French. I moved to England when I was probably about a year old because my dad wanted to return home and work in this country instead. My funny Halloween story - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I hope you've all had a great Halloween! This weekend, my parents went to spend some time in Cromer whilst me and my sister Alice were minding the house for a couple of days. This was our first time home alone and although it seemed a bit daunting at first, we had a lot of fun eating loaded fries and watching movies. On Saturday night, we watched Strictly Come Dancing and it was Halloween week. Whilst we were watching one of the performances, Alice reminded me of one of my cringiest Halloween stories yet. She said, "Juliette, do you remember that time on Halloween when you carved a pumpkin and kept it for weeks? You also made a broomstick and attempted fly on it on the green like a witch. My opinion on Doctor Who being a woman- News segment- Writing Wednesday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, Growing up, I have always been watching Doctor Who. I would watch it after Strictly just to stay up a little later (lol). I would watch the Christmas specials etc. I think it's fair to say that I'm a bit of a fan. But what has upset me the most recently was the fact that they changed the Doctor to being a woman. For years on end, families and children have been watching a male actor as the Doctor and no one cared about it then. Subsequently, I am a little bit confused as to why people care so much now. Technically, the Doctor can change into anything he wants to be wether that is a woman or an animal. But the reason as to why he was neither of those things for so long was because it fit into the story better to be a male.  The production team of Doctor Who isn't trying to offend people they are just trying to do their job which is to make an entertaining program.
