What dance is really like😂

Hi guys,

Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be talking about what dance is like because I have recently been watching some clips from dance moms and all it was was just pageant and dance is not like that. Now I know I am going a bit deep but I truly believe that dance is about expressing yourself through movement. I am deeply disappointed that it has become a pageant. It has become all about the looks and perfection which dancers strive for a lot which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it's to the point when dance is no longer enjoyable.

Where I will be doing my work experience placement--Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, I did a blog post about a month ago about where I was hoping to do my work experience placement. I was hoping that my first choice would be to work at my current studio, but despite my best efforts to try and get a placement there, they could only provide 1 week of work experience since other people had already applied for the 1st week. Plus the week I would be doing would be filled with admin and prep for the summer workshop which I didn't think was worth doing so I looked elsewhere. My second choice was my previous dance studio. After finding out that I couldn't do the placement at my current studio, I immediately sent an email to my previous studio. After a few days of intense waiting, I finally got accepted! Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, At the dinner table, me and my family were talking about a private school that was set up in Cambridge that is near to my sister's sixth form college. We talked about how the middle class families, pay so much money for their children to go to these posh schools to get a supposedly higher performing education. However, if you break down the lesson criteria, the same things are still going to be taught each time. In physics, P still equals MA and the quotes from Jekyll and Hyde are still going to come from Jekyll and Hyde. Breaking it down, there is no difference. However, the majority of the people that send their children to these schools are ignorant of this. They don't see that even though they've got fancy computers, their lessons are still always going to be the same. Making the most of the sunny weather - Lifestyle Monday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  This week was probably the hottest week it's been so far this year. We've been blessed with really nice weather for the most part of lockdown, which meant that me and my family could go on nice walks frequently and make the most of all the extra free time we had. However, on Wednesday and Thursday especially, the temperatures reached around 30°C, which could only mean that we had to bring the pool out again. By pool, I mean the classic British paddling pool that is probably just under a metre high but is great if you want to cool down in the summer. The weather was definitely abnormal and probably due to climate change but in this sweltering heat, we were thankful for the cold water that took me and my sister a while to get into but was really refreshing afterwards.
