Where I will be doing my work experience placement--Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,

 I did a blog post about a month ago about where I was hoping to do my work experience placement. I was hoping that my first choice would be to work at my current studio, but despite my best efforts to try and get a placement there, they could only provide 1 week of work experience since other people had already applied for the 1st week. Plus the week I would be doing would be filled with admin and prep for the summer workshop which I didn't think was worth doing so I looked elsewhere. My second choice was my previous dance studio. After finding out that I couldn't do the placement at my current studio, I immediately sent an email to my previous studio. After a few days of intense waiting, I finally got accepted! For the rest of the day I was incredibly happy. What the job entales is being a classroom assistant and helping out for the summer workshop. I am incredibly happy that I was given this opportunity and I can't wait to get started in July.

Hello everybody and welcome to another blog post, I recently went to Cromer, Norfolk with my family just to chill and relax before big upcoming tests. I had a lot of fun there. Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post, If you follow me on Instagram, @jujupage1, you will know that I've spent the last 3 days on a little family holiday in Yoxford, Suffolk. How to be confident😄

Hi guys, Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about confidence. If you're like me and you're not the most confident person in the world, you will know that it is difficult. What I do sometimes, if I have to share work in class, I pretend to be a confident person. Instead of using my nerves to be nervous, I use them to be confident. Most people when they're asked to read their work out in class, they think they can't do it. However, if you're pretending to be a confident person, you've got to tell yourself that you can do it. You've also got to think that you're not doing it for anybody else but yourself so it shouldn't matter what other people think. Another good tip that I have is to pretend that when your standing up in class that you've got a cape blowing in the wind. My dad taught me this and it actually worked. Building up your strength as a dancer - Dance Saturday

Hello everybody and welcome back to another blog post,  I'd say, no matter what kind of dancer you are, strength is really important. Dancers do need a certain level of flexibility in order to pull off all the technical movements and tricks and it definitely does make for a more cleaner and neater final performance. However, I think that strength is just as important, especially for those long and challenging routines that require a lot of physical endurance. At dance lessons on Thursday, we're beginning to do a set of core strength exercises once every month. I definitely think that this is really helpful for me because I'm more of the flexibility type instead of the workout type. It's no good being able to do all these amazing kicks and leaps, if you can't last the performance so we've been doing lots of different sit ups and cardio vascular exercises.
